At any given time I have as many as five different styling products in my hair

Today is one of those days. Here’s my routine:

After washing and towel-drying my hair, I start with a nickel-sized blob of evo Easy Tiger Straightening Balm to smooth it out; my hair has been bleached so many times it can get very frizzy and wavy, particularly in summertime. I work that into my hair while it’s damp.

I also put a few spritzes of evo Mister Fantastic Blowout Spray in there for extra body. Then I blow dry with a brush to puff up the back and straighten out the front out as much as possible.

Once my hair is dry I spray it all over with evo Builder’s Paradise Working Spray*; this is part of my formula for building up a lot of volume.

Then I sprinkle on a bunch of OSiS+ Dust It, which is basically powdered hairspray. I sprinkle this stuff mostly on the top and back of my hair, being careful to keep it off the long part in the front, which I want to keep as smooth as possible. The Dust It stuff helps me tease up the back of my hair and build crazy volume.

Last but not least, I spray all over with göt2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray. This is the strongest hairspray I’ve been able to find. I order it by the case off Amazon. The only downside is that the nozzle gets clogged easily and the spray either comes out in the wrong direction or doesn’t come out at all.

It might sound complicated, but all this takes no more than five minutes!

*I’m not like obsessed with evo or anything; the hair salon I’ve been going to for four years now (Hair Metal in Williamsburg) uses their products, so I buy them when I’m in there. They have served me very well! Anyway, all of that is how I get here:
